The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) is the Australian Government's national export and investment facilitation agency.
Austrade was established in 1986 as a commercially focused statutory authority to assist Australian companies to export and invest in overseas markets. It also promotes and facilitates foreign direct investment into Australia.
The Austrade office in Mauritius is situated within the premises of the Australian High Commission at Port Louis.

What can Austrade Port Louis do for Mauritian companies wishing to contact Australian suppliers?
- Provide you with up-to-date advice on Australia's supply capability across a wide range of products, services and technology
- Match you with Australian suppliers. As a buyer, you will be requested to provide some key data about your company and your needs, so that the best possible connections with potential Australian suppliers can be made using our extensive electronic data-base of export ready companies;
- Assist Mauritian companies seeking to represent or establish strategic alliances with Australian suppliers in their local markets
Our online database contains details of over 4,400 Australian companies and their products and services. Customers from anywhere in the world can locate Australian businesses listed by searching under the business name, product or service. For example, by entering the word 'wine', information on over sixty Australian firms is displayed.

The Australian High Commission does not offer assistance or information on exporting to Australia. If you are interested in exporting your products to Australia, please contact one of the associations below.
